I am very shocked. WHY ? Not because of this painting, but because of ur progress, I remember u and ur drawings before a year or before two years , they were good, but they hadn`t had something, Like I could say, u had ur style but u needed more skill. And now u have it. Very good job.

Oh yeah, well, I sucked, then I join NG at 2009, discover the art forum, then decided I want to be good. It took a while but progress can really happen if you strive for it :)

Wow I like the style, it is kind a academic, but also a bit like some street artists does, that lines are not smooth. Good. :)

Hey, I saw ur work on frontpage, very good. I like your style, because it is also a bit like trippingmetal style(dunno what is his nickname right now). But I am also making stickers and doing street art, but I am too laz to make bunch of them. I wanetd to ask you, did you printed them or just dre by hand ?.

And about those stickers in the left side, they are so similar to my drawings, man they are almost the same, Iw as making a game with that kind of a character. :)

I love the idea of this, because you added there many good facts of us.
And this could be something real after some years, or after one year :D.
By the way idea of 2012 is stupid, I believe that it is right now happening, we are changing, and our thinking is changing, just because look around us, so many accidents, tsunami and earth quake today, and what is going to happen tommorow. Damn I should smoke more.

[Painted frame drum]

Percussions !

Hey, I like this one because I am playing percussions too, and i enjoy being under some culture rhytms and feel them. And I was dreaming to draw on my djembe too but I need to know what kind of colors should I use ?

Hi Kembry.
I've been playing djembe, ashiko and djun-djun for at least 10 years and have found few cultural or spiritual restrictions as to how or how not to respectfully treat a drum.

The consensus amongst most folk I know and have talked to, is that you can decorate any drum any way that feels respectful and appropriate.

Cultural restrictions seem based on personal preference, though I do NOT pretend to be an 'authority'.

I will say that there are many Remo djembes or other drums that are cast in very bright and 'fantastic' patterns, and substances, and they are successfully used in a traditional manner, with no negative stigma.

I personally try to be more traditional, and use only wood bodies with actual goat-skin heads - yet the cord I use to string it is modern, so I'm not TOTALLY
traditional.

I have ornamented my own djembe with a bit of color. I tried to use as many natural pigments as I could, and only did so after using and 'talking' to the drum for a couple of years - Again, I don't assume to have any 'right or wrong' way of doing this, just what 'felt' right to me.

I'll try to forward you a pic of this drum with more info.

I am shocked man.

I LIKE THIS ONE, there is some drawings like this in art portal, or you can find them in google, but this one is nice, I love colors and style you add to thsoe characters.
I can give you only 10 :P, only.

And I am doing art for calendar contest too and It has similar idea- drawing, full of newgroudns characters, but I hope would not be angry and would not think that I am copying you, because I started a long time ago.

Great to see so good art works.
